Different from the more psychodynamic therapy, coaching offers clients the opportunity of a more short term and goal focused programme. The number and frequency of sessions is decided on with each client and often interspersed with Skype follow up sessions.
Karen offers clients, both individuals and couples, a chance to spend a day “visioning” their future.
Calling on the theory of Positive Psychology the day offers clients an opportunity to experience a programme designed exclusively for them. It is ideal as a stand-alone experience or as part of a series of sessions and designed to stimulate and energise.
The programme is carried out in a calm and beautiful setting in the Sussex countryside and takes full advantage of this as part of the experience is set outside. The day comprises of 12 unique exercises, from the creative and outdoors to the more practical and thought provoking.
Pre-lunch is a series of exercises that aim to clarify and contextualise your thinking, whilst the afternoon is designed to focus on a strength based action plan to ensure you end the day feeling renewed and focused.
You will have clarity and a strategy to create a new state of wellbeing. You will have learned some mindfulness, and meditation techniques, and have had an opportunity to regroup.
Before the day you will be asked to complete some pre work in the form of stimulus questions an online questionnaire. Post course there will be a one hour follow up course.
